I am filing BK chpt 7 and pretty mad about it. I am sending letters to the new D.C.regarding our feelings of the Bailout etc. and anywhere I can post. I think the Credit Bureaus need NEW RULES. IF my child had not died I would have maybe not missed work and gone under for afew months finanacially. OK Our fault but then I cannot regain any jobs in my field due to now a "bad credit report even if I am a great worker and with years of experience, so now there is NO way to even to try to make the same kinda money to cover my debts. So OK I'll sell my house- of course now all my equity is gone and the bottom has fallen out of the market, and they denied the short sale, now I am in foreclosure, in the mean time every CC card now has double it's Interest rate and I would need 3 high paying jobs to catch up. Consumer CC said they could not help me, the debt settlers took alot of money and only paid one debt at $400, after I sen them $600 for 8 mo! RIP OFF -I must move as they taking the house, and I cant get a good apt and have to pay alot of money down for a cheapo place -- because of bad credit, I am paying 26% on a cheapo car, bad credit, I think they should just bury you alive if you fall off the financial wagon, it be lest painful, I have worked two jobs, and did what I could, at 55 I am fighting for my life. I know alot of folks are hurting, but down deep I hope Equif, and the others colapse, I hope the banks fail UNTIL the remember the little people and stop this insanity. They now are increasing fees and cutting credit, hurting more folks, and last of all a Company can file for BK and still continue, we have to pay a dear price for 10 yrs,,, where is that a "forgiveness of debt" . I worked hard and paid my bills and my taxes- when you go down, the system will kick you HARD!
