The bad luck continues. My company laid off 1000 people in my division. This was the second round of cuts since Jan.
I am hoping it's a blessing in disguise because it has been a stress nightmare these last few months. Maybe I can find my dream job...03-27-2009, 04:34 AM -
So 13 people were let go in my office today. I know I am grateful that I was not one of them. I can't help but wonder if this will be the last. They laid off 600 people in my division today. Well, the thrill of a possible settlement was short lived. The city has decided to contest it. They even tried to deny him unemployment benefits. I hate my husband's employer!!!!!!!!09-12-2008, 03:02 PM

Well, it looks like workmans comp is goinmg to settle for my husband's case. Normaly I would be thrilled about this, but because I'm in an active 13, I'm worried. I can't get a returned call from my attorney about this, and can find no solid info about it on the web.

Well, got the confirmation paperwork in the mail today. What a relief. The attorney was able to get the amount reduced enough that even with my husbands disability, we will be able to make the payments!!!
