I really don't. I'm going to try to avoid credit cards as long as possible, because I USED to have a shopping addiction. (actually, it's like being an alcoholic, it's always there, lurking).
I just don't trust myself with credit cards.
What has surprised me is how FEW offers I've received. I'm really baffled about getting two Chase Ink (business card) offers, since I bk'd two fo their cards, don't have a business, and they sued me!
I know that I will need one eventually to build up my credit score, but for now I'm just fine with my trusty debit card .
Anyway, my choice of cards is limited, because I will NOT apply for a card I bk'd. And I bk'd most of them:
Capital One
Chase (two cards, and they sued me and won a judgment)
Orchard
HSBC
Home Depot
Macy's (I had 3 different accounts with them)
Firestone (Credit First???)
Credit One
Bank of America
Fortunoffs (World Bank???)
and more!
So there aren't many left!
I'm glad I paid off and closed my Target and Lord and Taylor accounts long before I filed bk!
I've learned my lesson! Really! I was a bad, bad girl. I was under a lot of stress, and I shopped to alleviate that stress, and look where it got me! More stress! Years of collection agencies and lawyers harrassing me, my credit ruined, and lawsuits and judgments. Never again!
